KA-HÔY by Roz du Jour Wooden Sunglasses was created while Roz was living in Vieques Island, Puerto Rico June 2014. The word kahoy originated from her mother tongue Tagalog, aka Philippine Language. She wants something that represents her roots. Having born in a beautiful island and growing up in California where it is always sunny, her obsession to living an Endless Summer combined with traveling fueled her creativity. After meeting and learning from different artistic people around the globe, she was inspired to produce an Eco-Friendly product that she can wear everyday while helping change the world one sunglasses at a time. Our National Campaign: #YouBuyYouHelp will donate portion of our sales to an NGO, High Atlas Foundation based in Marrakech, Morocco in support to Empowering Women and Green Sustainable Living.
